How can I enable JavaScript in my browser?

If you have received an error message, to proceed any further you need to enable JavaScript. Choose your browser from the list below and follow the numbered instructions.

Internet Explorer 6.0

  1. Choose Internet Options… from the Tools menu.
    The Internet Options dialog box is displayed with the General tab selected.

  2. Click the Security tab and make sure the Internet zone is selected.

  3. Click the Custom Level… button.
    The Security Settings dialog box is displayed.

  4. Scroll down to the section entitled ‘Scripting’.

  5. Select the Enable radio button for ‘Active scripting’ and click OK.
Netscape 8.1

  1. Choose Options from the Tools menu.
    The Options window is displayed.

  2. Click Site Controls in the Security and Privacy pane.
    The Options – Site Controls window is displayed.

  3. Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox in the Web Features section.

  4. Click OK.
Mozilla Firefox 1.5

  1. Choose Options… from the Tools menu.
    The Options dialog box is displayed.

  2. Click the Content icon.

  3. Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.

  4. Click OK.
Apple Safari 1.0

  1. Choose Preferences from the Safari menu.

  2. Click Security.

  3. Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox. 
    Please note: Upgrading your browser or installing new security software may affect your JavaScript settings.
